Over the years, I’ve learned that the smallest details can make the biggest difference in how an image feels years from now — especially wardrobe and overall styling.
As my work continues to evolve, motherhood, maternity, and newborn sessions will remain at the heart of what I do, while family sessions will be approached with an even more intentional, seasonal & limited offer.
Thoughtfully chosen wardrobe, soft tones, and cohesive styling allow the focus to stay where it matters most — on your connection, your story, and the moments you’ll want to hold onto for generations.
Because of this, family sessions moving forward will include more styling guidance to help create imagery that feels natural, timeless, and beautifully connected to the vision and experience I want every client to walk away with.
Outdoor sessions take place during the evening, about 1–2 hours before sunset.
This beautiful golden light creates the soft, dreamy glow you see throughout my portfolio and allows us to create warm, timeless images.
Because we rely on natural light, session times may vary slightly throughout the year.
Sunset varies throughout the seasons. Spring family sessions are booked for late May, early June when everything is in full bloom. Fall family sessions are booked for late August to mid October before all the leaves are gone. I follow this strict timeline to avoid late nights for littles, as sunset in the summer becomes quite late.
The clothing you choose plays a big role in creating a cohesive and timeless gallery.
The goal isn't to match perfectly, but to coordinate in a way that feels natural and effortless. Once your session is secured, I will email you with my family session prep guide. This leaves all the guess work out and is a simple guide to help prepare your family for a fun evening of freezing moments together <3
Book 1–3 Months Ahead. Golden hour evenings and fall dates fill quickly. Planning ahead gives you the best choice of dates, allows time for outfit planning, and keeps the experience relaxed instead of rushed.

INVESTMENT $495
A $100 retainer is required to reserve your session date, with the remaining balance due prior to your session.
Travel fees may be added for locations exceeding 30kms from Stavely.
Optional Add-Ons: Albums, prints, wall art, and keepsakes are available to transform your favourite images into heirlooms your family will treasure. Additional digital images and full gallery upgrades are also available after your gallery is delivered.
